SUMMER TRAILS OPEN IN THE 100 ACRE WOOD!
Intervale, NH (June, 2010) - For the first time, the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation is open for a summer season of activities in the 100 Acre Wood. The Kick-Off to the season was held Memorial Day weekend with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony followed by the First Annual Race for Reading. A 5K Trail Run/Walk & a Kids Fun Run for 12 and under.
The 100 Acre Wood includes a Family Friendly Recreational Trail System with hiking, mountain biking, walking and nature exploring. Also a Storywalk, a great way to read a children’s story while walking along a trail in the Wood. And the Theater in the Wood, a year round entertainment and performing arts facility that includes a Summer Children’s Theatre, Comedy, Author Gala’s, Plays and music of all kinds!
There is truly something for everyone here in the 100 Acre Wood! A low cost environment for guests to come and spend some time outdoors, or go inside for an evening show!

The net proceeds of all activities within the 100 Acre Wood go toward their literacy programs, scholarships, and grant giving.
