Into the Woodshed
7:30 p.m.

The Picket Fence Theater is pleased to announce the showing of Into the Woodshed, a not so Grimm fairy tale written by a local author and presented by 14 students from Jackson Grammar School and Josiah Bartlett Elementary School. The play is being presented, free of charge, to local non-profits to benefit their individual programs.
The story revolves around two rambunctious princes, their parents, the King and Queen and a cast of characters that includes a Princess, the Tooth Fairy, William T. Gruff, Paul Bunyan, Witches, and a wise Page. The production is very lively, with twists, turns and problems of all sorts that will entertain audiences of all ages. Word play drives the script; for instance, what do the words Princes and Princess have as a unique connection?

Secret Garden – Presented by the Hampstead Stage Company
Frances Hodgson Burnett’s, The Secret Garden, is an enchanting story about a young orphan girl, Mary Lennox, who comes to live with her uncle in the English countryside. Through her curiosity and determination, Mary finds a garden filled with memories that have been locked for years. Her youth and enthusiasm breathe life into each character she meets, bringing love back into the family. With this heartfelt story, we hope to share its message of hope, healing, and friendship.
