Why are we asking for pledges? Each summer our Bookmobile visits 17 locations throughout Northern New Hampshire every week! By sharing your commitment to literacy, you will be helping thousands of families receive free books.

Memorial Day Weekend!

A PLEDGING EVENT

Our 9th annual Race for Reading 5K Trail Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run has expanded this year. It will continue to be colorful and is now a PLEDGING EVENT to support literacy efforts. A prize will be given to the racer who gathers the most pledges! All net proceeds from the race benefit Believe in Books Literacy Foundation's Summer Bookmobile and the MWV Rec Path.

This year's event will be just as bright as the last - prepare to get blasted with color! Kids and adults will run/walk the course and get colored along the way. All participants will receive a race t-shirt (white, of course) along with a color packet for the end of the race.

Following the race Moat Mountain beer will be on tap for the 21+ crowd. Prizes will be awarded to our top finishers and all kids will receive a medal.

Registration is $35 the day of the race. This event is rain or shine.
