2025 Kids Fun Run at Story Land!

Join us this Labor Day on Monday, September 1st for our Fun Run at Story Land! Curious about all the details? Check out our newest vlog below. We can't wait to see you there.

Transcript:

Hi there, A.O. here with the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation. We’re busy gearing up for our Fun Run. Join us on September 1st for another exciting race at Story Land!

This race takes place throughout the Story Land park, and all participants will receive a FREE park admission for that day!

We’ll have our Book Mobile on site and some friendly character faces from Story Land to pass out t-shirts and medals!

Registration is $10 per child and opens at 8:15am on September 1st. The race starts exactly at 9am, so don’t be late!

We’re always looking for Fun Run volunteers to cheer on racers as they make their way to the finish, greet families at the gate to point them in the right direction, assist with registration, and help with parking. Volunteers will also receive a t-shirt and a ticket to Story Land to use that day.

To sign up for the race and volunteering, visit our website at www.believeinbooks.org. We can’t wait to see you at Story Land!

Thank you for creating such a detailed and easy to understand guide. There are plenty of articles online about pin download tools, but very few explain the process this clearly. Everything worked perfectly when I followed your instructions. I'll definitely recommend this page to anyone looking for a reliable solution.

It also made me think about how families are constantly balancing activities, school schedules, and even Online Assignments, so opportunities to spend time together in a setting like this probably become even more meaningful. I found myself wondering whether many of the children who participate return year after year, because traditions…

Oh, this brought back a memory I wasn’t ready for. My little guy ran his first Fun Run last year—tripped over his own feet at the start, cried for about ten seconds, then saw a kid in a dinosaur costume and took off laughing. That’s the stuff you hold onto. For anyone planning to bring a nervous runner, here’s what worked for us: get there by 8am even if registration opens at 8:15, because the parking and bathroom lines get long fast. Also, pack a change of clothes and wet wipes—trust me. We learned the hard way after a post-race ice cream incident. And if you’re looking for a quiet way to extend the magic at home later, I’ve been…
