Welcome to the Trails in the Wood! Here you'll find a system of 10 kilometers of varied terrain for all ages. The trails were designed for walking, X-C skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking (not allowed in winter), maple sugaring, and nature observation.

Hi there, A.O. here with the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation. Welcome to The Trails in the Wood.

A 10 km network of multi-use trails, with varying terrain, and lots of great scenery! Groomed for both skate and classic cross-country skiing, these trails are also open for snow shoeing and walking. Dogs on a leash are welcome, please remember to always “leave no trace.”

There are kiosks and parking at trail access point where you can pay by QR code, cash, or by check. Grab a trail map and see which story is on our ½ mile Story Book trail. We change the story every Wednesday.

Beginning with Chocolate Fest, February 23rd, our sugar shack opens for the season Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11-4. From our sugar shack, you can also access the Maple Storybook Trail.
