Believe in Books Literacy Foundation's Summer Camp is a week long opportunity for campers to become published authors and artists!
Each day campers will get to create art and collaboratively write a book! They will spend a few hours in the morning brainstorming and writing ideas. As the day progresses they will get to adventure through our Trails in the Wood and work on art projects that will help broaden their creative minds in storytelling.
Week Breakdown:
After an introduction with campers and counselors, campers will be divided into small groups to create a book of their own. They will have undivided support and help along the way from the organization Written Out Loud. Throughout the week, each camper will get to learn new creative techniques as well as play all the camp games we know and love. At the end of the week, campers will have created many works of art AND their own book that will be sent to a publishing company for printing.
- Campers will receive their book a few months after camp!
